Ruby on Rails
roadtrippr is coded 100% in Ruby on Rails. I did everything myself, from research, design and coding, although I did have lots of help from the rails community
Ruby on Rails was a great framework to work with. The learning curve was not too difficult, and it was very easy to get the first iteration of roadtrippr up and running in my development environment. After pouring over 4 or 5 programming books, I had the knowledge required to complete the website.
